Do you sometimes have small PDF files that you would like to combine into one file? With these FREE Mac PDF application, you can easily create your own workflows by joining multiple PDF files and order them as you want to be. The task sounds to be complex and tough, but can be done just by dragging and dropping your PDF files. Here I gather up the most 4 common PDF programs for Mac OS. |
Automator - Built-in Application as of Mac OS X 10.4

Automator can direct combine multiple PDF files into a single one in two or three actions. Automator is located in Applications Folder.
Step 1: Find the PDF documents. I get used to “Finder”. And drag and drop the PDF files into Automator.
Step 2: Next, combine PDF Pages. This will combine the files into a single temporary file.
Step 3: Do something with the new file, like rename, relocation.
Preview - Mac Preview is more than just a PDF viewer
To combine multiple PDF documents, the built-in Preview comes in handy. (Tips: This feature is available as of OS X 10.5)

To combine multiple PDF documents, you just need to open one PDF in Preview, drag the rest PDFs into the Sidebar of the main document, and join them by choosing Save as from the File menu.
PDFLab - Free Mac PDF Software

PDFLab lets you combine multiple PDF files as well as insert images, blank pages and order them the way you want. Moreover, you can even create a new PDF document to include only odd pages, even pages or the specified pages of the PDFs you wish.
PDF+PDF - Free Mac Dashboard Widget
If you prefer Dashboard widget, similarly, PDF+PDF can be used to merge multiple PDF files into one new PDF and it’s as easy as 1,2,3.
